ADUS cooperates with the organization Mporoume to reduce food waste and fight malnutrition in Greece.

It is our great pleasure to collaborate with the pan-European non-profit organization Mporoume to reduce food waste and fight malnutrition in Greece.

Mporoume successfully manages a holistic approach to the issue of food waste since 2012. They have the following programs:

• Rescue & food supply programs for each level of the food chain: central program “Food Rescue & Supply”, “Mporoume in Laiki”, “Mporoume in the Farm”.
• Information & public awareness programs: “Mporoume at school”, “Alliance for the Reduction of Food Waste” and “No Food Waste Certification Mark”.
• Food support program for people with the highest food insecurity: “We are a Family”.

ADUS contribute to their vision and programs with the aim of developing a social movement to reduce food waste and increase food support for people in need.

Additionally, apart from the support of the vision of Mporoume, ADUS encourages its employees with voluntary participations in the activities of Mporoume, as well as aims to create training seminars for both its staff and customers.
