Mporoume: 2022 Annual Action Report
A special year closed for Mporoume, as it completed 10 years of continuous actions to reduce food waste and increase the food supply in Greece.

We are proud that ADUS was able to support socially vulnerable groups by offering leftover food from its corporate events in 2022 and spreading the message of Mporoume throughout the year.
In 2022, Mporoume closed 10 years of actions to reduce food waste and increase food supply in the best way:
- Increase in the amount of food saved and donated daily (over 11.5 million food portions)
- Significant increase in the number of students who participated in the "We can at School" program (more than 6,000 of each educational level)
- Increase in the number of cooperating public markets, non-profit organizations - recipients and partners who help with volunteers in the "We Can Help the People" program (32 public markets, 595 volunteers, 191,900 kg of food)
- Development of the most dynamic online information campaign on food waste ever made in Greece (total reach >627,000 people)
- Increasing the positive environmental impact of their actions (17 million kg of CO2 eq. which is equivalent to >309,000 Athens-Thessaloniki trips by conventional car or the CO2 storage produced by >10,000 trees)
